From Interstate-89: Take Exit 7 off I-89. Follow VT Route 62 east for 1.8 miles. Turn right at Airport Road. Take the first right onto Granger Road. Travel to the end of Granger Road and turn left onto Comstock Road (dirt road). University of Vermont Extension building is on the left; look for sign that reads, "USDA Service Center." The building is tan with blue trim.
From Barre City (Routes 302/14): At the intersection on Main Street take a left at the light onto Route 62 (you'll see the Pierre Motel on your left). Continue on Route 62 and proceed straight at the next set of lights (the Hilltop Inn/Suzanna’s Restaurant are on the left). At the intersection at the top of the hill choose the left-hand lane to be able to turn left onto Airport Road.
Take the first right onto Granger Road. Travel to the end of Granger Road and turn left onto Comstock Road (dirt road). University of Vermont Extension building is on the left; look for sign that reads, "USDA Service Center." The building is tan with blue trim.
From Barre-Montpelier Road: Travel west on Route 302. Turn left at the light (you'll see Friendly's Restaurant on the right) and travel up the hill. Merge onto Route 62. At the intersection at the top of the hill choose the left hand lane to be able to turn left onto Airport Road. Follow directions, above, to reach office from Airport Road.
From East Montpelier: Travel west on Route 2 until reaching the rotary in front of the Walker Ford dealership just after the bridge. Enter the rotary, and drive almost all the way around, exiting on Route 302 East. Turn right at the light (there will be a Volkswagen dealership on the right) and travel up the hill. Merge onto Route 62. At the intersection at the top of the hill choose the left-hand lane to be able to turn left onto Airport Road. Follow directions, above, to reach office from Airport Road.

From Interstate 89 North or South: Take I-89 to Exit 14W. This brings you onto Route 2 West (Williston Road). Take a right at the first light past the Sheraton Conference Center. Take an immediate left (around the U-turn) to a set of lights. Go straight through the lights. This brings you onto Spear Street. Go approximately 1 mile. You will see the UVM Farm on the left; turn right at the UVM Bioresearch Facility sign. The Extension office is in the first building on the left.
From Route 7 (Shelburne Road) North: Turn right onto Swift Street (just before Denny's Restaurant and Interstate 189). At the second traffic light, turn left onto Spear Street. From the South: Travel north on Route 7 to Rutland. Watch for the fairgrounds. At the second traffic light after the fairgrounds get into the left lane by Kentucky Fried Chicken. Take a left onto Strongs Avenue. Go past the Party Store and take the next left. There is a large parking lot out front. The Extension Office is on the second floor.
From the North: Travel south on Route 7 to Rutland. Watch for Burger King and Wendy's on the right. Keep going through several traffic lights. Route 7 will go down a hill. Near the bottom of the hill take a right onto Clover Street (if you pass the Stewarts store you have gone too far). Take a right onto Strongs Avenue. Take the first left. There is a large parking lot out front. The Extension Office is on the second floor.

From the North or South: Travel I-91 to Exit 7 (Springfield). Continue off exit to Rte. 11 West.
At approximately 3 miles as you approach the first major intersection (blinking three-way lights with the senior high rise building directly in front of you), approach in the left lane and make a left. This is the bottom of South Street. Travel up South Street approximately one mile, (at top of hill, use caution as visibility is limited, staying straight/left) to Springfield High School and Howard Dean Education Center, located on the right.
Follow signs for Dean Center parking in north/south, northwest and southwest areas. Follow walkways to the Howard Dean Education Center Main Entrance (noticeable by the slanted roof).
Handicapped parking is available directly next to the Dean Center main entrance.
From the Northwest:
Route 7 South through Rutland. To Route 103 South through Ludlow to Route 10 East (Gassetts). To Route 106 South to Junction of Route 11 East (near Springfield Shopping Plaza).
